Our Team
The Center for Robust, Equitable and Accessible Technologies and Education (CREATE) for Next Generation Biofoundries was formed in September 2024 as a partnership between the University of Delaware, Penn State University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Our Vision
Biofoundries offer researchers the opportunity to scale their biological designs through automation processes; however, the cost, complexity and rigidity of these processes can be a barrier to access. CREATE's vision is to create models and technologies that make the biofoundry accessible to anyone, anywhere. Our distributed biofoundry serves as the first model.
